As he writes about himself:
“A proactive team-spirited enthusiast in every sense of the word, I have been a member of a non-profit sports organization, known as the Beirut Marathon Association (BMA), since the day it was founded in 2002. It is at the BMA that I was able to establish a multifaceted career; one that involves wearing many different hats, honing and harnessing various skills, and employing all required efforts to achieve the organization’s goals, year after year, and contribute to the success of every single local or international race.
I hold a multitude of titles: IT Manager, Sports Timing Lebanon Manager, Exhibition Manager, Webmaster, and Registration Manager and Sales; each requiring a lot of management indeed! However, it is through handling these diverse responsibilities that I strengthened my competencies as well as my ability to coordinate, manage, lead, and most importantly connect with others.
Given the nature of my line of work, I deal with people from all walks of life on a daily basis: old and young volunteers, charity members, professional athletes, amateur athletes, executives, governmental officials, students, and trainers among many others; and if it wasn’t for my intrinsic people-person trait and my exposure to different cultures, I would have definitely not reached the place I’m at today.
Genuinely assisting and supporting others is an integral aspect of any non-profit organization, and a strong passion of mine. In 2006, after the Lebanese war, I managed the BMA sports program for traumatized children, and I continue to actively connect – on a personal and professional level – with all the charitable organizations that BMA supports.
As a side passion, I have established if what is known today as BlackSuit EMS.”
